Let’s get the party started!

Wow! Not only can I keep on clubbing in my favourite costume, I get to blog about it too! I’m not really a disco ball, I just ended up in this suit after the airplane part of the musical had already been cast.

Miss DiscoBut lucky lucky me, because having stepped into the eyes and ears of the disco ball outfit, I’m not stepping out. I presume it’s this intense dedication and love of nightlife that earned me this coveted spot as an author of the cast’s blog. So you watched the musical? Fantastic huh? Well that’s not even half of the glam and glory that Stockholm has to offer. Trust me, I’m out and about bopping my head and spinning my costume at clubs and bars all over town, all around the clock. That’s what I intend to add to this blog, because the clubbing never ends! There’ll be the odd tip or two on where to go - but I’ll also bring you interesting gossip and news on what’s going on. Isn’t that great!?

Keep spinning,
Miss Disco

Enter The Meatball

I bet you never thought a meatball could write, right? Well guess what, it’s time to broaden your horizon and listen to your new curled up friend. From now on I’ll be telling you all about the best places to dine in the wonderful city of Stockholm, Sweden.

Mr MeatballI might look like a meatball, and I do actually call myself Mr Meatball, but this is all something that stuck on after I participated in Stockholm the Musical. I played the part of the singing Meatball. The Swedish speciality. Of course there’s a whole lot more to Swedish cuisine than balls of ground beef, something that all our fine restaurants in Stockholm showcase on a regular basis. If they’re not serving happy customers, it’s because they’re out somewhere in the world picking up an award or something similar. But meatballs naturally have a magical place in my heart, as in most of the people who come to Stockholm and have them the way they were always intended, with mashed potatoes, lingonberries, and cucumber. Well, that was all for now, thanks for stopping by.

Mr Meatball

Hello!!!

Now this is the most exciting thing to happen since the time I found that second hand handbag on Södermalm. Or the time I came home from town with 14 pairs of shoes! Or is it? Anyway, this blog is fun!

IngaInga. Remember the name, and shopping will be your game! I have made a living from knowing where good deals become bargains. But that is all secondary to the fact that living in Stockholm means I have everything I need and more just around the corner. I might pick up the odd traditional Swedish dress now and then, but it’s all mostly a façade. In truth, I’m a complete urban wild-child! Now where was I? Right, the blog! I’ll be revealing to you what my shopping sprees are like, and where I think you should go when you come to this fantastic city! Isn’t that a great idea! So keep your eyes peeled for my posts, and save your money for when you come to Stockholm!

With love
Inga

Land Ho!

But don’t lay anchor! Hoist the sails and get ready to go! With the launch of this here blog you’ll be able to experience the naked truth and hidden secrets of Stockholm before you even set your foot in the city!

VaxholmI might have played one of the least intriguing parts of the musical but that never put me down. Being Puffy the Steamboat I got to enjoy the best parts of the greater city area, parts that some didn’t even know existed. That is why I haven’t left this costume since I was singing and dancing in Stockholm the Musical. With the blog and my steamboat costume, I will from now on be able to combine my two most favourite interests. Telling people where to go, and how to get there. Now this was simply my introduction, I hope that next time I post here you’ll be prepared and ready to take notes. After all, the Stockholm archipelago consists of some 24,000 islands, and I won’t expect you to forget what I tell you. Now it’s time for my daily trip out to Vaxholm.

Catch you all next time,
Puffy

Where do I begin?

So here it is, my first entry in the blog. As you may know, it has fallen upon me to convince you to come to Stockholm. So the problem is of course, where among all the fantastic things do I begin?

SkyBarSince playing the lead part in the musical (much to Mr Meatball’s distress) I have continued to swing along the lampposts of Stockholm. Every once in a while I stumble upon something new, and that’s what I expect I’ll be telling you all about here. The romantic dark winter has just passed, and now that spring has its firm grip on the city, you can rely upon swinging reports from singing Sven. The snow has melted, and blondes are appearing all over the place! And on that very note, I’m off in this instant to the wonderful SkyBar at the Radisson SAS Royal Viking Hotel for drinks and a panoramic sunset view. I’ll make sure to give you the low-down on that experience the next time I write you.

Until then, have an equally fantastic time as I will!
Regards,
Sven
