What better way to celebrate the fact that summer is finally here, than to explore all the fantastic hidden stores in Stockholm? Well I for one couldn’t think of any other way, so that is exactly what I decided to do!
To begin with I headed on over to Bazoueira. This is a smaller store on Bondegatan on Södermalm. But I never judge size. A fashion outlet for smaller and more exciting designers from far and abroad, Bazoueira mainly caters those who like to dress in Scandinavian design. Exciting brands such as Maria Westerlind, Camilla Norrback, Tönt (which means geek), and lots more is easily indulged here. On Kungsholmen lies another of my secret favourites - Katitzi. This shop sells smaller Scandinavian designer labels alongside a great selection of second hand goodies. I have occasionally picked up garments beyond my wildest dreams here. I recommend it warmly. Finally I went to Speakeasy. Having relocated from Vasastan to Östermalm, this store is still one of my absolute favourites. Not only can you find lovely clothes that cannot be found elsewhere in town, they also double as a café. To think that no one ever thought of the convenience of sipping an espresso while trying on clothes before. I’m in heaven.
