Who needs Soho when there’s Sofo?

After a well-needed break, I’m back doing what I do best - shopping, of course! As the southern part of the city is where you’ll mostly find me, I’ll give you a quick report of my latest shopping spree around here before we hit other parts of town.

Inga in SoFoThe area between Medborgarplatsen and Skanstull is fashionably known as SoFo, short for “South of Folkungagatan”. Here you’ll find lots of independent designer shops, cool clothes and vintage stuff. First there’s Tjallamalla, a haven for girls who like new trendy clothes that haven’t quite hit H&M or the high street yet. Local design talent sell jewellery and shoes here too. I also recommend the cool shop Grandpa on Södermannagatan that has, gasp, everything! I’ve picked up furniture, bicycles, shoes, games, as well as top of the line fashion in this place. They have recently opened another shop on Kungsholmen, I will definitely update you on that one as soon as I have time to head on over. Rumour has it the shop is designed as a 5-star hotel, complete with a café inside, wow!

Yours truly
Inga
