Usually you see me in my traditional folk costume, but I’m also a big sucker for streetwear and Stockholm is a really nice spot if you’re into that.
One of the biggest selections of street and skatewear you’ll find at Caliroots, Brunnsgatan 9. They rock brands such as ALIFE, Vans, Ice Cream, 10 Deep, Nike SB, Stussy, Crooks and Castles among others. The selection are updated on a regularly basis and they also have a really nice web shop. To find Sweden’s own top skatewear brand WESC you should head to their concept store at Kungsgatan 66. Here you find a nice selection of their latest collection as well as some cool skateboards, trucks and other skate items. Are you looking for sneakers, take the train to Södermalm and go to Sneakers n Stuff at Åsögatan. They have the biggest selection of vintage and new sneaker models from Air Jordan, Air Max, Air Force Ones, Converse, Adidas, New Balance etc etc. You’ll also find nice tees and sweaters from Milkcrate Clothing, Mixwell and Keep Diggin NYC. And the best part: If you’re almost out of cash, just grab a cup of coffee and lounge in their cafeteria while listening to the DJ spinning the latest club bangers.
